I'm most interested in the open problems: non-human identity, streaming authorization, accountability for agentic systems, and defending against re-identification. If you're working on any of those, or you've found something that breaks in the work I've published, I'd like to hear from you.

I also read notes from people running data pipelines in regulated environments who are up against the same compliance-versus-velocity friction. War stories welcome.

A note on what this isn’t

Deterministic Systems Lab is a research initiative, not a consultancy. I'm not taking on client work, and I'm slow to answer anything that's really a sales pitch. Research collaboration, talks, and hard technical questions get my attention first.
